About Us |
After several years of helping you Welcome Home Babies we have decided to sell our business and move on to the next phases of our lives. If you are interested, please email, melinda@welcomehomebaby.com.au for more information. We do love our little business and hope to find someone that has the same passion to take on our store.
Our inspiration for ‘Welcome Home Baby’ has come from welcoming home our own babies, our nieces, nephews and friends babies.
We are sisters with experience and qualifications in hospitality, sales and marketing, teaching and floristry. We are mothers too. |

When we had our children we were very fortunate to have the love and support of our large extended families. We had friends and families to cook home-style meals and help keep the house in a manageable state. As mundane as it may seem, these are quite often the most important things to you in those first few weeks/ months of your babies life. We also know that there are a lot of families that don’t have this luxury and this was the inspiration for part of our business.
We have focussed on offering contemporary gifts that are practical, fun and gorgeous. On the arrival of a new baby you are inundated with presents to celebrate the special occasion, our aim is to make our gifts functional, fun and safe. |
Our gifts are hand chosen from predominantly local suppliers (that are in most cases mums) who stand behind all of their products. We look for products that are good value for money and not necessarily available in every suburban shopping mall.
We hope that you enjoy our on-line shopping store, which is designed for you to choose gifts that are suitable to the new baby and family that you know, not pre-packaged to a certain dollar value.
